Tim is an experienced, team-oriented attorney serving individuals and business entities of all sizes.  Matters routinely handled concern contract negotiation and review, interface with government agencies, general business matters, contract disputes, business torts, shareholder disputes, insurance-coverage litigation, and probate and trust disputes.

He has extensive experience in federal and state courts, and with mediation and arbitration as well.  This diversity in experience allows for an aggressive, yet principled and practical, approach to litigation, which has proven most effective for clients, both in terms of success and cost.

Further, this experience, coupled with creative problem solving and practical thinking, yields opportunities in non-litigation matters to guard against disputes in the first place and to find efficient solutions to business challenges.  From working with business professionals for nearly 20 years, Tim has embraced concepts such as kaizen, the OODA loop, and 5S to adopt a “lean legal” approach to the practice of law, resulting in premium representation at a highly competitive cost.

Tim has been repeatedly recognized for excellence by the Super Lawyers rating service.  Tim was named a Super Lawyer each year from 2019 through 2022, and again for 2023, in the field of Business Litigation, a distinction reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in the practice, and only 5% of Ohio lawyers are so recognized.  Previously, Tim was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers on multiple occasions.  Additionally, Tim has repeatedly been named to Toledo Business Journal’s Who’s Who in Toledo Law.
